Did that sale pay for itself? The Promotions report answers with facts. Find it under Reports in the sidebar (owners only), pick a date range, and every offer - sales and promo codes alike - shows its record.
The numbers
- Uses: every time an offer priced a booking or a bill in the period. A cancelled booking hands its use back and leaves this report entirely.
- Money off given: the dollars your offers took off customers' bills - what the discounting cost you.
- Revenue on those bills: what the discounted visits brought in. For a visit that's been paid, that's the final bill - extras added at the desk included. For a visit still to come, it's the booked value.
- New customers: uses where the visit was that customer's very first with you. This is the offer doing the introducing - for a code you only gave to regulars, expect zero, and that's fine.
Below the totals, the by-offer table shows the same facts per offer, with each code or sale labelled, and exports to CSV like every other report.
Reading it honestly
A big "money off given" isn't a problem by itself - read it against the revenue beside it and the new customers it introduced. A sale that gave away $200 to bring in $1,800 and six first-timers did its job; a code with many uses and no new faces might be discounting people who would have come anyway. Both are worth knowing, and now you do.
