The No-shows & protection report

The visits that didn't happen, what they were worth, and what your deposits and fees earned back - with the full list of misses and a CSV export.

Missed visits cost real money, and this report puts a number on it. Find it under Reports in the sidebar (owners only).

Pick a date range and the report shows:

  • Missed visits: no-shows, plus cancellations made after your free cancellation window closed. A cancellation made in time isn't a miss - the slot was released, not wasted.
  • No-show rate: no-shows as a share of visits that reached their day (completed plus missed). It's the number to watch when you change your booking terms.
  • Value of missed visits: what those bookings would have billed. From-priced bookings count their starting price, so treat it as a floor.
  • Protection earned: what your booking terms earned back - kept deposits and charged missed-visit or late-cancellation fees.
  • Net kept: protection earned minus any goodwill refunds you chose to give back. Both sides of that story stay visible: being generous with a regular is a choice, and the report shows what it cost.

Each figure also shows how it compares against the period of the same length just before it - the quickest way to see whether a change to your booking terms is working.

Missed more than once

Customers with two or more misses in the range get their own list, with how many visits they've missed and what those visits were worth. That's the list to act on: ask for a deposit next time they book, or take their bookings with care.

The misses

Below the totals, every missed visit is listed: who, what, the visit's value, and what was kept or charged for it. A dash in the last column means the booking had no protection - if you see a lot of dashes next to real money, that's your sign to turn on deposits or card capture in Settings.

Export CSV downloads the list for whatever range is on screen.

How a miss counts

A miss counts on the day the visit was meant to happen. Undoing a mistaken no-show or cancellation takes it out of the report entirely, and money follows the record: a kept deposit that's later refunded still shows as kept, with the give-back counted against it.
