We take the security of your business and your customers' information seriously. Here is how we protect it, in plain terms.
How your data is protected
- Encrypted in transit and at rest. Traffic to and from BeNotely uses HTTPS, and your data is encrypted where it is stored.
- Isolated by business. Each business's client book is its own. One business can never see another's customers or data.
- Access is limited and recorded. Access to the systems that hold your data is restricted to the people who need it, and sensitive administrative actions are logged.
Payments and card details
When a business takes payments, card details are handled by an accredited, PCI-DSS compliant payment provider, and are never stored on BeNotely's own systems. Your team sees only that a card is on file, never the number, and BeNotely never holds your customers' funds.
Uploads are screened
Every photo uploaded to BeNotely is checked before it is stored, so unsafe or inappropriate images do not make it onto a booking page or website.
Analytics without tracking
Our website analytics are first-party and cookieless: visitors are counted without cookies, without storing raw personal details, and without following anyone around the internet. We do not sell your data, or your customers' data, to anyone.
Reliability
BeNotely runs on reputable cloud infrastructure with regular backups. No online service is available 100% of the time, but we work to keep yours running and your data safe.
Reporting a security concern
If you believe you have found a security issue, please tell us at hello@benotely.com so we can look into it quickly. We are grateful for responsible disclosure and will work with you to confirm and fix genuine issues.
