There are two different kinds of refund, and they work differently because different people are involved: refunds for the appointments you book with a business, and refunds for a BeNotely subscription.
Refunds for appointments and deposits
When you book and pay a business through BeNotely, the deposit or payment goes to that business, not to us. Each business sets its own cancellation and refund policy, and it is shown to you before you pay.
- If you cancel within a business's cancellation window, that business's policy decides whether your deposit is refunded, and the refund is issued by the business.
- If you need a refund for an appointment, or you're not happy with a service, contact the business directly. They hold the booking, the payment and the policy that applies.
- BeNotely provides the tools a business uses to issue refunds, but we do not decide, approve or fund them, and we cannot refund an appointment on a business's behalf.
Nothing here affects the rights you have as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply to the business providing the service.
Refunds for a BeNotely subscription
If you run a business on a paid BeNotely plan, this is our own policy for the fees you pay us.
- Every account starts with a free trial, so you can try everything before you pay. There is no charge until you choose a paid plan.
- Paid plans are billed in advance. You can cancel any time, and you keep your paid features until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not bill you again after that.
- We do not generally refund fees already paid for the current period, or for time already used, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires it.
- If something has gone wrong on our side, or you think you have been charged in error, email us and we will put it right.
