Your data

Last updated: 24 July 2026

Your data is yours. This page explains what that means at BeNotely, in plain language. Our Privacy Policy has the full legal detail.

Who owns what

  • A business's client book, bookings and content belong to the business.
  • A customer's own details and booking history belong to them.
  • BeNotely holds this data to run the service. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with other businesses.

It stays separated

Every business's data is isolated. A customer who visits two businesses on BeNotely is a separate record at each, and no business can see another's information.

Take it with you, any time

Businesses can export their client book to a spreadsheet whenever they like. Your data is never held hostage; leaving is always possible, and your export is yours to keep.

Deleting your data

You can close your account at any time. If you want your data deleted, contact us and we will remove it, keeping only what we are required to retain by law (for example, limited records for tax or dispute purposes). Closing an account does not erase appointments other people have already booked, which the business remains responsible for.

Who we work with

To run BeNotely we rely on a few trusted providers: a payment provider to process payments, messaging providers to send email and text messages, and cloud infrastructure to host the service. Each handles data only to provide its part of the service. Our Privacy Policy lists how we handle personal information in full.
