Add your team

Invite the people who work with you, choose what each one can see and do, set who provides which services, and give them their own hours and calendar colour.

Working alone? You're already on the team as the owner, with your own calendar column, and nothing here needs doing. Everyone else is added under Team.

Inviting someone

Press Add team member, enter their name and email, and pick a role. They get an invitation email and set their own password. Until they accept, they still show on the calendar and booking page if you've made them bookable, so you can fill their column before their first day.

Roles

Each role is a set of things a person can do. What they can't do simply isn't shown to them.

  • Owner. Everything, including billing and who does what. There's one owner.
  • Manager. Sees everyone's bookings; creates, changes and cancels them; manages services and prices, the team and invites, business settings and hours.
  • Front desk. Sees everyone's bookings and creates, changes and cancels them. No settings, no prices, no billing.
  • Team member. Their own schedule and profile only: the bookings that are theirs, their hours, their notifications.

You can change a person's role any time from their profile.

Who does what

On each person's profile, tick the services they provide. That's what decides whether a customer can book them for a haircut but not a colour. Each service's own page has the same list from the other side.

Bookable is the switch that puts someone on the booking page. A receptionist or an owner who no longer takes appointments stays on the team, off the page.

Their own hours and colour

Each person carries their own days and times inside the business's week, plus rosters and time away; see Set your hours. Every appointment of theirs wears their colour on the calendar, so a full day reads at a glance. They can add a job title, such as Senior Stylist, which shows on the booking page.

Their notifications

Each person chooses what they hear about and how, under My notifications; see Your notifications. A team member only ever hears about their own bookings.

Can I remove someone?

Yes. Their past bookings stay on the record under their name; they just stop appearing on the booking page and the calendar from then on.

Do team members pay for their own seat?

No. Your plan covers your team; see Plans, your trial and billing for what each plan includes.
