Your business details and brand

The name, address, phone, email and timezone behind everything you send, and the logo and colour customers see on your booking page and in every email.

Everything under Settings → Business shows up somewhere a customer looks: your booking page, your website, confirmation and reminder emails, receipts. Fill it in once and every part of BeNotely reads from it.

Your details

  • Business name. What customers book with and what every email is from.
  • Address. Shown on your website, your booking page and in confirmations, with a Get directions button. Home-based? Turn off the Street address switch in the website editor: your website shows only your suburb, and customers who book still see the street so they can find you. Mobile? Leave the street out and keep the suburb, so people know the area without a door number.
  • Phone. Shown on the booking confirmation, in booking emails and on your website, so a customer can call instead of cancelling online. You can hide it from your website in the website editor.
  • Email. Online bookings and cancellations are emailed here, and it's the reply-to on every customer email, so a reply to a confirmation reaches you, not us. Left blank, replies go to the account owner's login email.
  • Timezone. Your calendar, opening hours and booking times all run on it. We guess it from your address; check it once.
  • Industry. Set from your first service, and yours to change. We use it to suggest message wording and website photos, and as the starting guess for how often customers come back, until your own bookings show a pattern.

Your brand

Under Branding, add your logo and pick a brand colour. The logo wears the top of your booking page, your website and the masthead of every email, and it's the picture people see when your link is shared in a message or a post. The colour becomes the buttons and highlights customers see, on the page and in the emails. Until you pick one, they're blue. No logo yet? Your booking page shows your first initial, your website and emails show your name, and a shared link shows your website's main photo or your name on your brand colour, so nothing waits on it.

Where it all shows

Your booking page, the confirmation screen, the Manage booking page, the form pages, every email and SMS, receipts, the PDF of a signed form, and the preview when one of your links is shared. Change a detail here and it's everywhere from the next send.

I changed my logo but an old preview still shows

Chat apps remember a link's preview once they've fetched it, so a new logo can take a while to show there (Messenger checks again within about a month). Messages already sent keep the preview they had.

Can I rename my business later?

Yes. The name changes everywhere at once. Your booking link is separate, so renaming the business doesn't break the link you've shared. See Share your booking link if you want to change that too.
