See your website in Google Analytics

Add your GA4 Measurement ID and your website visits and bookings appear in your own Analytics account.

BeNotely's Website page already shows you visits, visitors and bookings, with no setup. If you also use Google Analytics - or your marketing person does - you can send your website's traffic there too and see it alongside anything else you measure.

Add your Measurement ID

  1. In Google Analytics, open Admin (the gear, bottom left).
  2. Under your property, choose Data streams and open your web stream - create one for your website's address if you haven't yet.
  3. Copy the Measurement ID at the top right. It starts with G-.
  4. In your dashboard, open Website, choose Edit website, then the Site settings tab. Paste the ID into the Google Analytics card and save.

That's it - no code, and no need to publish your site again. It takes effect the moment you save. Google Analytics is part of the paid plans.

What appears in Analytics

  • Every page view on your website and booking page, so your traffic, sources and audience reports fill in as usual.
  • A booking_confirmed event each time an online booking is made, carrying the booking's value - so you can mark bookings as a key event and see which channels drive them.

The stats on your Website page aren't affected - they keep working exactly as before, and they remain the numbers with no cookies involved. Your website's privacy policy automatically gains a line about the measurement while it's connected.

Running Google or Meta ads too? Track your ads so bookings report back as conversions.
