BeNotely's Website page already shows you visits, visitors and bookings, with no setup. If you also use Google Analytics - or your marketing person does - you can send your website's traffic there too and see it alongside anything else you measure.
Add your Measurement ID
- In Google Analytics, open Admin (the gear, bottom left).
- Under your property, choose Data streams and open your web stream - create one for your website's address if you haven't yet.
- Copy the Measurement ID at the top right. It starts with G-.
- In your dashboard, open Website, choose Edit website, then the Site settings tab. Paste the ID into the Google Analytics card and save.
That's it - no code, and no need to publish your site again. It takes effect the moment you save. Google Analytics is part of the paid plans.
What appears in Analytics
- Every page view on your website and booking page, so your traffic, sources and audience reports fill in as usual.
- A
booking_confirmedevent each time an online booking is made, carrying the booking's value - so you can mark bookings as a key event and see which channels drive them.
The stats on your Website page aren't affected - they keep working exactly as before, and they remain the numbers with no cookies involved. Your website's privacy policy automatically gains a line about the measurement while it's connected.
Running Google or Meta ads too? Track your ads so bookings report back as conversions.
