Ironwood is a hair studio in the centre of Melbourne, run by stylist Mila Novak. The room is timber, steel and good light, and the pace is unhurried: one client at a time, with time for a proper consultation before anything is cut or coloured.

The work runs from precision cuts and restyles to curls, lived-in colour, balayage and gloss. Every price is on the menu, "from" prices are confirmed before colour goes on, and every finish is one you can recreate at home.
