A High Street fixture

Rosa Marino started doing nails in a salon three doors down in 2004, bought this shopfront in 2012, and painted it peach before the removalists left. The name wrote itself.

The salon runs on Rosa's two rules. One: nobody leaves with a bubble in their top coat. Two: the client in the chair is more interesting than the phone at the desk, which is why bookings moved online and the phone mostly stopped ringing.

Birthday sparkles for the little ones, standing Sunday dates for the mums, and a colour wall that settles most arguments eventually.
